Kim Kardashian mourns the death of her BlackBerry
Company replies to reality star's lament

Kim Kardashian is getting emotional over the death of her BlackBerry.
The reality star posted on Twitter on Wednesday that her classic BlackBerry Bold finally died and she can't find a replacement on eBay.
She says she "knew this day would come," but is "getting sad" as reality sets in.

She says she's considering whether to get a different kind of BlackBerry or a different brand.
She needs two phones on different services, she says, to ensure that one is always working.

A BlackBerry executive later replied to the media star's lament for her device.
"We're here for our customers and loyal fans — and I've got Kim covered," said BlackBerry senior vice-president Alex Thurber.
"If Kim is looking to try something new and innovative, we've got the most secure Android smartphone with DTEK50. And, as a longtime fan of BlackBerry's iconic keyboard, we will be adding a physical keyboard to the most secure Android smartphone soon!" Thurber said in a statement.
The company said it will send Kardashian a device.
BlackBerry phones once dominated the smartphone market but have been overtaken this decade by phones using Google's Android and Apple's iOS platforms.
