Laura Has Stage Four Cancer, But Is Still Hopeful

If POG doesn't work for me then I'm hoping that what I've done will help someone else after me.

Laura Startup was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. Six years later, it spread to her bones. In 2015, the cancer spread to her liver and she was enrolled in the POG trial.  "Being stage 4 cancer, you're not the happy ending, you're not the pink ribbon stuff".

She's had her POG analysis done and hopes that a treatment will work for her, but "I know the way my story is likely to end. Being able to coming to terms with it and look it in the face, that doesn't mean that I'm not still hopeful, but realistic".
