Wolastoq First Nation artist Jeremy Dutcher won his first Juno Award on March 16 for his groundbreaking debut album, Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa.

The classically trained musician combined archival field recordings, traditional music, jazz, electronic, and piano to craft a record that resisted easy definitions and classifications. Dutcher performed "Sakomawit" from his award-winning album at the 2019 Juno Awards with Greg Harrison (drums), Blanche Israel (cello), Jonathan MacArthur (vocals) and Blake Pouliot (violin).
