First-time Juno nominees the Bearhead Sisters (Allie, Trina and Carly) performed their song "Waka'Ne'" at the Juno Awards Opening Night Gala on March 11. The singing sister trio has been making music together for 17 years and counting.
The beloved group from Paul First Nation, Treaty 6, Alberta, won for traditional Indigenous artist or group of the year. You can watch their awe-inspiring performance above.
