Scott Helman is back with episode 5 of his Hotel Sessions series. This one features a collaboration with singer-songwriter Jann Arden, whose new TV show, Jann, premiered on March 20.

Arden and Helman chose to cover "Lovesong" from the Cure's 1989 album Disintegration. In the Calgary hotel room where the video was shot, they're accompanied by bass, drums and electric guitar, with Helman adding some acoustic guitar touches to the arrangement. Don't their voices blend nicely over that seductive bass line?

Helman will wrap up his months-long Hang Ups tour in North Bay, Ont., on April 6.
