We're excited to show you our brand new website revamp

If you're reading this, that means you've discovered CBC Music's new website!

We're here to make sure you know where to find all your favourite CBC Music content: playlists, videos, radio playlogs and articles, in addition to coverage of major events such as the Juno Awards, the Polaris Music Prize and the CBC Music Festival.

Where do I listen?

First things first. To listen to CBC Music programs and playlists, head over to CBC Listen (also available via the "LISTEN LIVE" tab, above).

Amanda Parris is the host of CBC Music's Marvin's Room. (Dustin Rabin)

It's your one-stop shop for radio shows — including Mornings with Raina Douris, Tempo with Julie Nesrallah, Afterdark with Odario Williams, all available for streaming in five time zones — and the full range of CBC Music's playlists (from Adult Alternative to Workout Mix, and everything in between).

That's also where you'll find playlogs for our radio programs. Simply locate the page for the show in question, and under "Playlogs" select the date of the program you wish to search.

While there, you're also just a click away from CBC Radio One, CBC Podcasts and a bunch of program highlights available on demand. A convenient way to explore all the talk and music programming that CBC has to offer.

Where do I watch?

CBC Music's original video content, including the First Play Live sessions and Jam or not a Jam series, is accessible via the "Watch" tab, above.

You'll also find performances from the Polaris Music Prize gala and the Juno Awards, plus weird and wonderful highlights from our archives, such as this one:

Does Jann Arden know how to make an entrance or what? Check out her epic entrance as she opens the 1997 JUNO Awards. 1:08

Click on the "Read" tab to access interviews, breaking Canadian music news, longreads and our regular Songs You Need to Hear series.

Where's Searchlight? Where's the Canadian Music Class Challenge?

Shopé won Searchlight 2019.

We're collecting our coverage of annual happenings under our "Events" tab. There, you can find the latest on the Juno Awards, Searchlight, Canadian Music Class Challenge, Polaris Music Prize and the annual CBC Music Festival (which, by the way, is coming up on May 25 at Toronto's RBC Echo Beach).
