Artist Ammoye, influenced by early dancehall and roots reggae, was the second act to take to the q stage at last summer's CBC Music Festival. She shared her love of Bob Marley, launching into a cover of "Is This Love" and encouraging festival-goers to follow their intuition.

"Whatever gift you are born in life with, make sure you own that and you live that," she said, before leading the crowd in a call-and-response performance of "Soul Rebel."

Relive highlights from her set below.
