Pop star and talk-show host Kelly Clarkson is admittedly a big fan of Schitt's Creek. On a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, she told actress Annie Murphy that the hit Canadian series was "one of my favourite shows of all time." And to prove it, the two teamed up for a performance of one of the show's most iconic moments.

Murphy and Clarkson performed "A Little Bit Alexis," a song from the show's fifth season that revealed the pop-star past of Murphy's character. "We kind of prayed at the altar of Britney for a little while," Murphy told CBC Music last year, on the writing process behind the fictional hit.

Clarkson added her own lyrics, opting for a more maximalist approach compared to the original song: "I've got like, 20 jobs/ and I talk a lot/ I'm a whole lot married/ my man's so hot."
