Frank was first introduced to Mr. D in Episode 1 of Season 2. Although Frank uses crutches to walk, he does not allow his disability to hold him back and he prides himself on being treated no differently that anybody else. In Season 4, the audience will get to know Frank a little better when he is hired on at Xavier Academy as its new guidance counselor and also becomes Gerry’s assistant basketball coach. Frank feels his ability to relate to the students’ problems is an inherent gift.  Indeed, he encourages the students to call him Frank as that ‘connects them’.  He also deems himself something of a lady’s man and makes obnoxious advances on anything in a skirt. Is a differently-abled misogynist better than an abled one?
