Naomi Snieckus

An actor/writer/improviser/voice-over/director, Naomi is an alumnus of The Second City Toronto where she wrote/performed in five hit shows. She has performed in theatre across Canada including The Arts Club in Vancouver, The Belfry in Victoria, Buddies in Bad Times and Canadian Stage in Toronto. Naomi directed Chelsea Menders in the award winning Naughty Little Children and the Touring Co. at Second City. As a writer, she has written for Trish Stratus for Walk of Fame and Nelly Furtado for The Junos. TV and film credits include Da Kink in My Hair, Degrassi, Train 48, Regenesis, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Ron James Show, Being Erica, Wingin' It, She's the Mayor, Reel Love, SAW 3D, Haven, Life with Boys and The Listener! Naomi's voice has been on CBC Radio's Canadia, as Aunt Turtle in Franklin the Turtle and in Cat in The Hat. She is a founding member of 3 time Canadian Comedy Award winning troupe The National Theatre of the and performs/produces: Impromptu Splendor, The Carnegie Hall Show, The Scriptease Project and The Soaps. The troupe just came back from NYC where they performed at the Barrow Street Theatre. Naomi also produces, writes and stars in the web series She can be seen in Martin Shorts special "I Martin Short" and has a recurring role in the new Trailer Park Boys series "Drunk and on Drugs Happy Fun Time Hour. Naomi won the CCA for best female improviser in 2010.
