Metro Toronto Convention Centre

Celebrities at this year's convention include Tom Felton and Rupert Grint from the Harry Potter series, Mads Mikkelsen and Gillian Anderson. Besides the famous personalities, there's plenty to explore, including people dressed up in elaborate costumes and over 900 retailers selling their wares.

Sept 3 to Sept 6
Air Canada Centre

"The word Varekai means "wherever" in the Romany language of the gypsies the universal wanderers," says the Cirque Du Soleil website. "This production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, to the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and to the infinite passion of those whose quest takes them along the path that leads to Varekai."
