Errol's Pick

"Don't Let The World See Your Love" is the title of the latest CD by singer/songwriter Spencer Burton. Errol says it's a collection of songs featuring a guy with a sweet voice, nimble guitar playing, and some tasty lap steel. It's the kind of record that's best appreciated in an intimate club like The Rivoli, and that's where Burton will be tonight. While "Don't Let The World See Your Love" is a pretty melancholic album, don't be fooled into thinking that Burton's gigs are gloomy affairs. A good friend who's seen him perform told me she's never laughed so much at a concert in her life. She said that despite the somber tone of Burton's music, he's hilarious live. All the more reason to see him tonight. $10. 10 p.m. 334 Queen St. West. Follow me @ErrolNazareth
