The Massey Lectures
The 2022 CBC Massey lectures will be given by Cree author Tomson Highway and titled Laughing with the Trickster: On Sex, Death and Accordians. His lecture will take audiences on an exhilarating journey through language, creation, humour, sex and gender, and death - and how these ideas are expressed in Indigenous culture. For the first time since 2019, the lectures will be delivered in person to audiences in five cities across the country, with tickets available the first week of August. They will also be broadcast on CBC Radio's IDEAS and CBC Listen in November 2022, and will be available as a book from House of Anansi Press.
