About the Show

An original Canadian format produced by CBC, FRIDGE WARS (6X60) pits two celebrity chefs against one-another to create jaw-dropping feasts in a glamorous studio kitchen - using only the ingredients raided from the fridges of Canadian families. The improvised dinners must win over two families who judge blindly to determine which chef wins each epic battle.

FRIDGE WARS is co-produced by CBC and The Gurin Company Inc. The Executive Producer is Tracie Tighe, the Showrunner is Barry Davis, and the series Producer is Jeff Thrasher. For CBC, Sally Catto is General Manager, Programming; Jennifer Dettman is Executive Director, Unscripted Content; Alexandra Lane is Senior Director of Production, Unscripted Content; and Ann-Marie Redmond is Executive in Charge of Production.

FRIDGE WARS is presented in association with Whirlpool®, KitchenAid® and General Mills Canada.
