CBC MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2020 LINEUP AT RBC ECHO BEACH

The lineup includes headliner Metric, with performances from Half Moon Run, Lights, Jeremy Dutcher, Dizzy, Haviah Mighty, Snotty Nose Rez Kids and more

March 3, 2020 - Canada’s largest all-Canadian music festival returns for an eighth year to take over RBC Echo Beach on Saturday, May 30, with five stages to showcase some of the country’s most talented acts. The 2020 CBC Music Festival lineup includes headliner Metric, as well as mainstage acts Half Moon Run, Lights, Jeremy Dutcher, Dizzy and Geoffroy. Host Tom Power returns with the q stage, welcoming performances by Haviah Mighty, Snotty Nose Rez Kids, and the soon-to-be-announced 2020 CBC Music Searchlight contest winner.

As in previous years, CBC Music Festival is thrilled to showcase emerging acts on the CBC Music Tent Stage including Tanika Charles and Tedy, as well as family-friendly programming throughout the day at the CBC Kids Zone. 

More artists, a full schedule and festival news will be announced in the coming weeks. 

Presale tickets will be available through livenation.com beginning Thursday, March 5 at 8 a.m. ET until 10 p.m. ET for AMEX holders and a special CBC presale begins on Thursday, March 5 at 10 a.m. ET until 10 p.m. ET with code CBC2020. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster. General admission is $39.50 +fees, while children 12 years old and under enjoy free admission with any adult ticket holder (two children per adult).    

CBC Music Festival has something to offer for all ages and tastes, with a carefully curated lineup of both established acts and emerging artists. Between sets, guests can explore the onsite entertainment, meet local CBC hosts and try out the best of the city’s cuisine from the Food Truck Fair. 

Fans outside the Greater Toronto Area can enjoy the day’s performances via the CBC Music Festival live stream on the CBC Gem streaming service, cbcmusic.ca and via CBC Music’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.
