Zulekha Nathoo

Zulekha Nathoo works as a reporter in the exciting world of arts and entertainment and on the busy Breaking News desk.

She has spent more than a decade perfecting the art of story-telling as a television and radio journalist. In that time, Zulekha has interviewed a wide range of people: from politicians like Stephen Harper to superstars like Gwyneth Paltrow. She has lived and worked across Canada - navigating the backroads of northern New Brunswick, filming speed-dates on a chairlift near Montreal, covering the Dalai Lama's visit to Calgary and reporting on a deadly avalanche from a helicopter over B.C.

She also spent a year reporting overseas with the Nation Media Group in Nairobi, Kenya. Her innate curiosity about people, culture and delicious food has taken her around the world to places like Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, Cambodia, and Brazil.

In her spare time, you'll find Zulekha in a yoga class or learning a new language. She's fluent in French, with a basic level of Spanish and Hindi.

Zulekha is from Calgary, AB and studied history at the University of Ottawa. She has an MA in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario.
