Tamara Khandaker is the host of CBC Podcasts' new weekly world news podcast, Nothing is Foreign. She has been the guiding voice on two major daily news podcasts, The Globe & Mail’s The Decibel, and Global News’ Wait There’s More, providing in-depth explanatory coverage of major news stories, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the movement for racial justice in the wake of the killing of George Floyd, and recent Canadian and American national elections, for a Canadian audience. As a co-producer on Wait, There's More and producer of CBC Podcasts' U.S. election podcast Party in the USA, Khandaker has crafted in-depth illustrative interviews with journalists and experts on everything from politics to sports to culture. Before that, she was a staff reporter at VICE News and the Toronto Star, where she focused on race, immigration, and Canada on the world stage.
