Lyndsay Duncombe is a Senior Reporter for CBC National News, based in Vancouver. She recently returned to Canada after a decade in the United States where she served as CBC News’ Senior Washington Editor. Lyndsay led CBC’s busy DC bureau throughout the Trump administration and filed frequently for CBC TV, radio, and online platforms.
Prior to her time in Washington, Duncombe worked as both a field producer and video journalist in Los Angeles, deploying frequently to breaking news across the U.S. Equally comfortable in front of and behind the camera, Lyndsay also spent six years in Winnipeg as a reporter and anchor and began her career as a video journalist in her home province of Saskatchewan.
Lyndsay was a 2001 recipient of the CBC Joan Donaldson Scholarship, and has degrees from Queen’s University and Ryerson University.
