Leisha Grebinski

Leisha Grebinski is the host of CBC Radio One's Saskatoon Morning, heard each weekday morning between 6:00 and 8:30 a.m. on 94.1 FM. With proud Saskatchewan roots, Leisha grew up in Regina, completed her journalism degree and Master of Arts at the University of Regina. She travelled to Mozambique on the U of R's Ron Robbins international journalism scholarship to report on HIV/AIDS projects. She also spent one year hosting CBC's morning show Daybreak North from Prince Rupert, BC. Leisha won the RTNDA Dave Rogers Long Feature national award for a documentary called Joel and Jen. She also won the RTNDA Gord Sinclair Award for the special live event Student News Day.

Leisha is extremely involved in the community. She has been the Honourary Race chair of the Saskatchewan Marathon for the last three years, volunteers with Big Sisters and supports a family of refugees from Syria through Open Door Society as a friend and mentor. Leisha loves learning about Saskatoon and telling stories about the people who live here. She is often seen walking, cross-country skiing, and drinking coffee along the river. She also has two cats and a baby on the way.
