Isabelle Racicot

Co-host of CBC podcast and radio series SEAT AT THE TABLEIsabelle Racicot is a well-known television and radio host in Quebec. Whether she is interviewing an international star or an ordinary person, Isabelle remains the same: a host who likes to make people shine, an interviewer that likes to listen and a human being who wants to learn.

Isabelle started out as a researcher in 1997 at MusiquePlus (Quebec’s MTV) and quickly moved in front of the camera. Between 1999 and 2006, she travelled the globe for the daily entertainment French magazine, FLASH (Quebec’s Entertainment Tonight-Access Hollywood) to interview stars such as Sir Paul McCartney, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, John Travolta, Gérard Depardieu, Jeanne Moreau, Céline Dion, and cover international events such as The Oscars, Festival de Cannes, Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, The Grammy’s and The People’s Choice Awards.

Perfectly bilingual, she also contributed to English television in Quebec for the CBC and CBC Newsworld between 2002 and 2004. Since then, Isabelle has hosted daily shows on Rock Détente, NRJ and RougeFM, the Hit20 Countdown for 2 years on Virgin Radio as well a 4-year stint hosting as her renovation TV show Des idées de grandeur on Canal Vie.

Isabelle also hosted the number one morning talk show 2 Filles le matin on TVA for 3 years and prime time talk show Ça finit bien la semaine, also on TVA, where local and International personalities sat down for one-on-one revealing interviews.

A mother of 2, Isabelle has been named ‘Personality of the year’ three times at the Sounds Of Blackness  Awards and supports the Girls Action Foundation that helps young women develop a sense of self, confidence and leadership.

Isabelle has hosted the noon show on Quebec’s AC French radio station Rouge fm since 2014. She also collaborates with the number one morning show Salut Bonjour as the home and family specialist, and will also be hosting a daily night talk show, Les Échangistes on Radio-Canada this summer.
