Emma Waddell is an entrepreneur and miniature expert, who is based in the UK. She is often credited with being one of the “world’s only interior designer for miniature houses”.  Eleven years ago, she walked away from a successful banking career to pursue her life-long passion, miniatures, full-time. She currently runs and owns Sudbury (Suffolk)-based Dolls House Grand Designs, which specializes in building, designing and renovating dollhouses. Emma’s work has been featured in magazines, advertising campaigns, television and film. Some magazine credits include You Inspire, The Mail on Sunday, Dolls House, Scene Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar. 

Her dollhouses have been commissioned for ads including one which displayed extravagant jewelry by Chanel, Tiffanys and De Beers; for television by the BBC; and most recently, was in the third installment of the blockbuster film series, Kingsman starring Ralph Fiennes. Emma’s houses are so detailed and realistic that her 18th century miniature home was used by YouTube prankster duo, Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, to create a fake Airbnb listing, which ended up booking over £3000.Highly respected, Emma has also been a judge at London’s prestigious Perfection in Miniature Awards.
