Unsolved Cases

Slain sex-trade workers in Winnipeg

In the last decade, Winnipeg police have solved more than 90 per cent of homicide cases in the city, usually within days. But with victims who were sex-trade workers, the success rate drops considerably.

Since 1983, at least 20 known or suspected prostitutes on the city's streets have been killed in cases that remain unsolved.
