Nomination period is March 1 - 12, 2015 at 12:00 pm CST

CBC Manitoba Future 40 finalists will be selected by a panel of judges and will be listed on CBC Manitoba's Future 40 webpage. Finalists will be announced between March 16-19 on CBC Radio One's Information Radio, CBC News Winnipeg at 5, 5:30 & 6 pm and cbc.ca/Manitoba.

Future 40 Finalists will receive:

• A profile on CBC Radio One's Information Radio, CBC News Winnipeg, cbc.ca/manitoba and in Metro Winnipeg.
• Exclusive rights to use the CBC Manitoba Future 40 logo and brand for promotional purposes for their business or organization.
• An engraved, CBC Manitoba Future 40 award.
• Invitation to attend an exclusive networking reception on Thursday, March 19 from 5-8pm.
• Finalists in attendance will be entered to win a random grand prize draw for an iPad mini.

Criteria for submission

Nominations should explain professional contributions and/or outstanding service contributions in the community. It should explain efforts and initiatives taken that advocate for the health and success of Manitoba and the people who work and live in this province.

Selection Process

All nominations are reviewed and rated against the nomination criteria by a panel of seven judges comprised of CBC and Metro News staff. Award recipients are chosen in consideration of equity and balanced representation of age and experience. Award recipients must participate in Future 40 promotion and be able to attend the Future 40 reception.

Eligibility Requirements

• Nominees must be 40 years of age or under as of March 2015
• Nominees must reside in Manitoba for a minimum of 1 year with proof of official residence in Manitoba
