Geoff Ralling's Viking Voyage

GeoffRallingVikingVoyage.jpgMore than a thousand years ago Vikings sailed into the Gulf of St. Lawrence from where they overwintered at the tip of Newfoundland's great Northern Peninsula - the spot now known as L'Anse aux Meadows.

This Sunday, Geoff Ralling, an Island sailor will be talking about his plans to replicate the Viking voyage, sailing from PEI to L'Anse aux Meadows in July. Geoff sails a 32 foot boat called Be Faithful 2. He joined Karen Mair to discuss his April 6th talk which takes place at 7:30 at the Irish Cultural Centre.
