DutchThompsonApr252014.jpgIt's in the news almost every day. Islanders moving away looking for jobs. These days it's usually Alberta. But go back 50 years and Maritimers were flocking to Ontario for better paying jobs.

Go back a hundred years ago, and the out migration was to the Boston states. Today on the by-gone days... Dutch Thompson has the first in a five part series we are calling.."Leaving Home." He dropped by the studio recently to speak with Karen.
