Crossings: A Thomas Pichon Novel

A.J.B Johnston is well qualified to fictionalize the 18th-century world of Thomas Pichon.
He is a historian with a distinguished career as an academic at Cape Breton University and visiting other institutions around the world His area of specialty is 18th century living and he's looked at all kinds of documents particularly around the Fortress of Louisbourg.
One Character, Thomas Pichon, a real person who attracted his attention many years ago. Now Thomas is attracting our attention because he's now the lead character in three novels that tell us a bit about life in the 18th century world.
"Crossings" has just been released, it is the third installment and we talking to John about why he was interested in telling these stories.
