CBC Mobile Services

Visit the CBC YouTube Channel for mobile video clips from many of your favourite TV News, Documentary and Entertainment shows, including CBC News Network, The National, The Border, Rick Mercer Report and The Hour m.youtube.ca/cbc

iPhone users can now access a variety of CBC video through the Video link in the News and Entertainment sections of the CBC Touch site.

Select your service provider to view instructions for accessing CBC video clips on your mobile device. Service fees / subscription may be required.

Your Bell mobile plan should include Video on Demand to view CBC video clips or Made for Mobile TV to view live streams from CBC News Network. Otherwise you'll be charged a maximum $2 per session cap.

Instructions for viewing video on Bell smartphones and mobile devices

Launch Media Player.
Select Channel Listing.
Select RUN to start Media Player* (applicable to select handsets only).
Select Clips, Live TV or Radio.
Select the desired content, Subscribe (if applicable) and enjoy!

*Note: You must download the Media Player the first time you access the service. To do this, select Download Media Player, Get, and then Install. Run the application and follow the steps above.

Choose pay-per-use or add Streaming Video to your SaskTel plan to view CBC video

Instructions for viewing video SaskTel phones and mobile devices:

Select Media Player from the main menu of your phone.
Select Channel Listing.
Select a content category.
From the video clips listed, select the content you'd like to view.

Choose pay-per-use or add Video on Demand to your Rogers plan to view CBC video

Instructions for viewing video on Rogers smartphones and mobile devices:

From the Rogers home screen, select the Menu key.
Select the Vision icon.
Select Video / Radio to start the service or to subscribe (if applicable).
Scroll through the channel guide under Watch for new and classic video clips labelled by category or show.
Select the category or show you want.
Scroll through the video clips and select the one you wish to watch.

Choose pay-per-use or add unlimited video streaming to your Telus plan in order to view CBC video clips. Add Telus mobile TV to view CBC News Network.

Instructions for viewing video on Telus mobile phones:

Select the Wireless Web or Browser on your home screen.
If the Telus home page is not set as the default home page, click your menu button and select it from your list of Bookmarks.
From the Telus home page, select the Shop button or link.
Select Videos from the list of merchandise categories.
Select the content category and video you'd like to view, subscribe (if applicable) and enjoy!

Instructions for viewing video on Telus BlackBerry® smartphones:

Select the Browser icon from the BlackBerry home screen.
If your list of Bookmarks and History are not displayed, click the BlackBerry menu button.
Under Bookmarks, select Home page (Telus WAP Browser).
From the Telus Home page, select the Shop button or link.
Select Video from the list of merchandise categories.
Select the content category and video you'd like to view, subscribe (if applicable) and enjoy!

Instructions for viewing video on other Telus smartphones:

Open the browser application on your smartphone (Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.).
Check your Bookmarks or Favourites for the "Telus WAP Browser" or "Telus Home Page". If a bookmark already exists, select it to launch the Telus Home Page.
If no bookmark or favourite exists, enter the URL "m.telusmobility.com" to launch the Telus Home Page (and save it as a bookmark or favourite for quick access next time).
From the Telus Home page, select the Shop button or link.
Select the content category and video you'd like to view, subscribe (if applicable) and enjoy!

Video clips are found in the Fido Mobile Internet Portal and it's entirely FREE to browse that section on your mobile Internet browser on the Fido network. You only pay for the video clips that you download.

Instructions for viewing video on Fido smartphones / mobile devices

First, make sure your phone is video enabled, and then follow the steps below:

Select the Internet icon from the main menu of your Fido phone.
Select the SHOP link from your mobile Internet home page then select Videos.
Select the category of the clip you're looking for.
Select a video then click on the Download link.
