A Calgary doctor and entrepreneur made her final business pitch in a global competition at St. James Palace in London today. Breanne Everett took second place in the Pitch@Palace Commonwealth Competition in the spring. The Duke of York founded the event for entrepreneurs four years ago. Breanne was pitching an innovative shoe insert -- she designed -- that helps prevent foot damage in people with diabetes. It already won the Governor General's Award for Innovation -- here in Canada -- back in 2016. Breanne Everett is the CEO and founder of Orpyx. And we've reached her in London.
