New play based on historical visits to Sudbury by Thomas Edison
May 2, 2018
It's true. Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb among other things, did come to Sudbury back in the early 1900s. He was hopeful that the nickel found in the area could be used for batteries to power electric vehicles. Adric Cluff took those historic visits and used them as a basis for a new stage production. The play is still in development but you can check it out in Sudbury at PlaySmelter. Adric Cluff told us more about it.
