As you might have seen this week in the news, Canadian postal workers could start rotating strikes as early as next week (Oct 22). The public often wonders if Canada Post is losing relevance in our modern society, but one person who still has faith in the postal service is Alberta writer, Rona Altrows.
She shows off her faith in a new book called "At This Juncture - A Book of Letters," where the lead character, Ariadne, is alarmed that Canada Post is losing money, so she decides to launch a campaign to get people writing letters.
Eventually, a deeper story emerges from her letter about her fight for a young man named Leo, persecuted after coming out as gay. Russell Bowers sat down with the Calgary author.
