Thousands of people across B.C. have either been forced to evacuate or are they are on alert to do so because of wildfires. The stress of living with this kind of threat can have long-term psychological and emotional impacts. Mary Ann Murphy is a Sociologist at UBC Okanagan who has been studying the psychological effects of wildfire evacuation. She spoke with Robyn Burns.
