While kids in most of our listening area are back to in-class learning, students have been no stranger to "remote" or "distance" learning during this pandemic. We tend of think of it as a new thing - but a new book reminds us that remote learning, of sorts, has actually been happening for a while. Bonnie Sitter is the author of "On the Wright Track: Memories from C.P.R. School Car #2." It's a book that focuses on the history of a particular school rail car run by the Wright Family that ran between Chapleau and White River. Jonathan spoke with Bonnie Sitter recently and started the conversation by asking her about Ontario's school car program.
