We'll talk to the Ontario Cottagers Association about why they are worried camp hydro bills are going to go way up
There are plenty of expenses that go along with a camp.
And soon, there could be a big hike in one of those expenses: hydro.
Customers that use to be classified as "seasonal" will soon be reclassified, and that means their rates will go up.
For some, that could add up to over 700 dollars a year.
It is a decision by the Ontario Energy Board.
And it has Terry Rees and his members upset.
Rees is the Executive Director Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Associations.
He spoke with the CBC's Jessica Pope.
