The impact of organic pollutants in Northern Quebec
A recent study shows that organic pollutants from local foods were twice as high in pregnant Inuit women than women among the general popualtion in this country. Mélanie Lemire is a Université Laval professor and the titular of the Sentinel North Partnership Research Chair on Ecosystemic Approaches to Health. She is also the lead researcher on this study and she shares their findings with Breakaway guest host Peter Tardif.
