Luc Courchesne wins Governor General’s award for visual and media arts

When Luc Courchesne, one of the founding members of the Société des arts technologiques, started out creating immersive art, he couldn’t have dreamed of having the technology that exists today—that we even carry around in our pocket. As the technology has evolved, his intentions have remained the same: to create work that values the human experience. His work was honoured this week with a Governor General’s award in Visual and media arts.
