How dance kept brothers Siphe and Mthuthuzeli November connected across continents
Hardly a day went by when Siphe and Mthuthuzeli November didn’t dance together growing up in South Africa. Now, Siphe is a principal dancer at the National Ballet of Canada and Mthuthuzeli dances in the U.K., but the brothers recently had the chance to perform together again. Siphe joined Tom Power to talk about the piece Mthuthuzeli choreographed and created for them, called My Mother's Son. It was filmed this past summer in London, England and has its world premiere tonight at Toronto’s Fall For Dance North festival.
