UVic nursing professor responds to the Province's new nurse-to-patient ratio staffing model announcement
The B.C. government has announced what it calls a "transformative" staffing model to support nurses and patients. And they include not just wage increases but also new rules for nurse-to-patient ratios to reduce workload. Damien Contandriopoulos, nursing professor at the University of Victoria, spoke to CBC's Gregor Craigie for more.
