You may think seagulls are not all that bright. We hear from Ph. D. student Jessika Lamarre of Memorial University who says that's not true at all. We speak with newly minted federal Minister of Mental Health and Addictions Carolyn Bennett on her mandate and what that means for people in Labrador. We hear from psychologist Janine Hubbard on things you should be doing to protect your mental health during these cold winter days. Schools are reopening, and many of you have questions about what this means for your children. Tina White, Assistant Director of Education for Labrador with the English School District joins us to provide some answers. Douglas Pike has been sharing photographs he took in the late '60s and early '70s while working as a cinematographer in Labrador. He joins us today to talk about what brought him here, and the stories behind some of the pictures. People on the north coast are hoping for more cold weather to continue building up the sea ice. We hear from Eldred Allen in Rigolet and Rex Holwell in Nain about conditions on the coast.
