'Killing the Wittigo' a new YA non-fiction book from Suzanne Methot
24:27
Suzanne Methot has spent a lot of time thinking about the legacy of intergenerational trauma in Indigenous communities. It's a legacy she's lived herself. Her new book on the subject was created to help young people heal their lives from the inside out. It includes grounding exercises and challenging questions, but it also provides a context to help youth understand how to move beyond the trauma.
Suzanne joins host Shauna Powers to talk about 'Killing the Wittigo: Indigenous Culture-Based Approaches to Waking Up, Taking Action, and Doing the work of Healing'.
