This week, the Saskatchewan Medical Association wrote an editorial calling on the next government to address problems with access to rural healthcare and mental health services. We spoke with Dr. Barb Konstantynowicz, a family doctor in Regina and president of the SMA. We also heard about the experience of Dr. Crystal Litwin, a family doctor in Wynyard, and Jacob Alhassan a PhD candidate at the University of Saskatchewan's Department of Community Health and Epidemiology who studied the affect of STC closures on the health of people in rural Saskatchewan.
