Reclaimed is the home to the next wave of Indigenous music on CBC. Combining past, present and future this series explores the many worlds of Indigenous music and introduces listeners to a new generation of Indigenous artists reclaiming their culture through music and song -- It’s National Indigenous History Month and the celebration continues! Get ready for a full spectrum of Indigenous sounds from hip-hop and R&B, to dance music for your summer warm up. We're also shining a bright spotlight on our Queer and Two-Spirit relations for Pride month - June is double the celebration, double the excitement and all the shine! And, we're still rolling out our new feature "The People's Voice". This week Anishinaabe 'Moccasin Gaze' artist Zoon is showing love to another artist forging a path with experimental Indigenous sounds. It's all in the lead up to a special themed National Indigenous Peoples Day episode, when Reclaimed passes the mic for a people-powered soundtrack to the celebration.
