Stephen Sondheim died Friday at age 91. The composer and writer known for shows like Company, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods and Sunday in the Park with George, was beloved by performers and fans alike. Often telling stories about the darker parts of life, Sondheim changed ideas of what a Broadway musical could sound like.
