This sweet and simple slush is your new go-to blended bevvy.

This sweet and simple slush is your new go-to blended bevvy

This two-ingredient cocktail is as simple as can be, and what’s not to love about a white wine slushie? This wedding-worthy recipe comes to us from Howard the Wine Guy and he says to always opt for a Sauvignon Blanc because it has a good acid, works with the flavour of the fruit, and has a great aroma! Blend and garnish with some fresh strawberries, edible flowers and fresh mint to up the presentation. It tastes just like summer and is perfect as a palette cleanser or a sunny afternoon on the patio.

Ingredients

  • ½-¾ bottle white wine (Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 600g frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup strawberries, thinly sliced, to garnish
  • Edible flowers, to garnish
  • Fresh mint, to garnish

Preparation

Add ½ bottle of wine and frozen mango to a blender, purée until smooth. If it is too thick add more wine until it’s the consistency you want. Pour into martini glasses and garnish with strawberries, edible flowers and mint.

Servings: Makes 6-8 servings
