Recipe: Shahir's Power Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked or puffed brown rice or quinoa
  • ½ cup lightly ground quick oats
  • ½ cup almond butter or pumpkin seed butter
  • 3 pitted medjool dates
  • ¼ cup toasted unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 tbsp super seeds (hemp, flax, chia)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp protein powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Roll into heaping tablespoons and chill on a parchment lined plate, or eat immediately. Store in the fridge in a resealable container.
