Recipe: Shahir's Power Balls
Looking for a high protein guilt-free snack? Try out Shahir’s power balls, perfect for when you're on the go or on your way to the gym.
- 1 cup cooked or puffed brown rice or quinoa
- ½ cup lightly ground quick oats
- ½ cup almond butter or pumpkin seed butter
- 3 pitted medjool dates
- ¼ cup toasted unsweetened shredded coconut
- 2 tbsp super seeds (hemp, flax, chia)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp protein powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Roll into heaping tablespoons and chill on a parchment lined plate, or eat immediately. Store in the fridge in a resealable container.
