If you thought the season of rosé was over, you mistaken! Cold weather calls for a mulled beverage, and instead of using red wine, this recipe calls for rosé. The cinnamon and cranberry add the seasonal notes, while the grapefruit and rosé add a freshness to this old fave. It’s sure to be a hit at your upcoming holiday parties.

  • 2 bottles rosé wine
  • 4 cups white cranberry juice
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 2 pink grapefruits
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, optional

To a large pot over medium heat add rosé, cranberry juice and cinnamon sticks. Cut your vanilla bean in half lengthwise and slice grapefruits into thin rounds. Add to pot along with fresh cranberries and let simmer for at least 15 minutes. Serve wam.

Slow cooker option:

Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and heat on high for 30 minutes. Turn slow cooker to low. Serve warm.

Servings: Makes about 3 litres
