DIY protest signs for the Women's March

Easy to make sign that will broadcast your message loud and clear at this weekend's Women's Marches.

CBC Life staff and contributors are preparing to march in this Saturday's Women's March in  WashingtonLondon, Los Angeles, New York and many Canadian locations, including Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and St. John's. We'll be sharing stories, images and video from each of them via our Facebook and Instagram pages and if you're marching, we would love to see your photos and hear your #whyimarch stories as well, so please share them on those pages.

We're marching for women's rights and the rights of people of all genders, religion, background and sexual orientation. And I must say that as a woman, I have already felt uplifted by the spirit, mobility and support of this event in the wake of some pretty dark sexist rhetoric and times.

In the spirit of changing that rhetoric, we're getting geared up for tomorrow with some signage that'll get seen. So, grab your gals and pals tonight and have a big night in prepping your words to walk with.

We picked up materials for all these signs in a one-stop shop at a big box store, so you should be able to get any one of these made tonight pretty easily. If you don't have time, scroll to the bottom of this post for some other resources.
