The Cost of Cancer

Geoff Eaton is a two-time cancer survivor, and founder and executive director of Young Adult Cancer Canada. A cancer diagnosis can be devastating news….. but it’s not the end of the story. After the diagnosis comes the fight…. and for some — chemotherapy. In the past, that meant hospital stays…. and IV tubes. Now… there are other options…. including treatments that can be taken at home. But it’s expensive….. sometimes significantly more than IV treatments in hospitals. A coalition of cancer groups …. called CanCertainty…. is hoping to change that. Geoff Eaton is a two-time cancer survivor…. and he’s the founder and executive director of Young Adult Cancer Canada.
