Documentary looks at Inuit family put in human zoo

A new documentary is hoping to write the last chapter of Abraham's diary. In 1880, Abraham Ulrikab and his family were brought to Germany to be exhibited at the Hamburg Zoo -- just one of many zoos they were displayed at. The family from Hebron died of smallpox while in Europe -- but what Abraham left behind was a one-of-a-kind diary. Now, a crew is in Nain working on a documentary called Trapped in a Human Zoo. It will air on CBC's The Nature of Things next year. Labrador Morning reporter John Gaudi spoke with producer Roch Brunette.
