A convicted sex offender, and a code of silence in a small Labrador community

Kate 003.jpg CBC Here and Now’s Kate Adach Women and girls in Mary’s Harbour on the south coast of Labrador are making serious allegations against a longtime resident of their community — they’re claiming over 30 years of sexual violence. Ralph Rumbolt faces 28 charges relating to sexual offences. All are against girls under 16 years of age. CBC reporter Kate Adach was recently in Mary’s Harbour for CBC Investigates. She is in the studio with Matt McCann.
