George River Caribou hunting season opens today

Thumbnail image for terry-french.jpg Terry French and Tony Chubbs Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Tony Chubbs .jpg The George River caribou hunting season begins today. I usually starts in August, but the province says it needed time to assess the health of the herd. And it has some new rules in place for this hunting season. Terry French is the province’s Minister of Environment and Conservation. He’s on the line to tell us more. and Tony Chubbs is the President of the Labrador Hunting and Fishing Association. He’s in the studio with me this morning with his reaction to the announcement.
